📘 Mini-Lesson of the day: [Max Lange’s Mate]
Today’s theme is about Max Lange’s Mate in chess.
💡 Key Insights:
Here, you control the king’s escape through a couple of bishop moves and finally checkmate the king with your queen.
Let us see an example to understand this

White to play and Mate in three.
If White starts with Qh7, black king will escape to f7
So, White starts with Bh7 check, and Black plays the only move to Kh8. Now, White plays Bg6 and gives a discovered check and also controls the king’s escaping square of f7.
After the king goes to g8, now white gives a checkmate by Qh7.
Bh7 Kh8 Bg6 Kg8 Qh7#
